Keycards
Keycards · "8 unique security tiers" · Clearance
“There are currently 8 unique security tiers in-game.” (MH:Keycards). The keycard colours are lore-fixed and reused everywhere in the TCG: the clearance chip on every card, the rarity glyphs, the reader lamp in the crate opening.
The tiers
Section titled “The tiers”| Tier | Codename | Colour | Primary holders | Access (verbatim) |

| Q | Plant Director / Director | mauve | Plant Director, Federal Ranger Regiment, SOC; FD adds FMDF | “Director: Identical to A card.” — “every single door except for a select few in Zone D” |
| A | Administrative | red | Corporate, Shift Manager, LMP, department heads | “High: Every door apart from prison and 2NIA.” — carries voting rights in corporate meetings |
| BA | Department Lead | orange | Department command ranks, Chief Engineers | “Management: Specialized departmental sectors.” |
| BS | Defense Team | blue | PS, TRT, PSD, GSP, GSFM, ACR, NSP | “Tactical: Security checkpoints and armories.” |
| C | Reactor Operations | yellow | Reactor Operations | “Operational: Reactor core and Control Room.” |
| D | Service Personnel | green | Plant Maintenance, Logistical Operations | “Service: General facility and maintenance tunnels.” — “strictly barred from entering the Control Room, Security offices, or Executive suites” |

Edge cases the TCG uses
Section titled “Edge cases the TCG uses”- Hostiles without a card “assume a clearance of a B card” → hostile cards print — and need no Level.
- The WN Hacking Device “functions as an A-Card” → the Device counts your Level as A for hostile cards.
- The Federal Ranger Regiment carries a Q-card → the Ranger counts your Level as Q for West Noobia cards.
- The Zone D crossroads need “at least A”; LMP note that “the A card does not give you clearance” at Holding — flavour for why Z is never a Level.
- Team pages say “B-Keycard” without distinguishing BA and BS; the TCG’s rules use one B and the frame shows BA on DOE cards, BS on SECFOR and Stratocracy cards.
