Trading · "NAMS trade floor" · Logistical Operations valuation

Trades are between two operators who both accept them. Every trade is valued on the server with the card value formula; the client only previews. A player who does not accept trades in their profile cannot be sent one.

RuleValue
Fairness floorThe initiator’s side (cards + XP) must be worth ≥ 40 % of the partner’s side (cards + XP)
XP sweetenerXP added on a side ≤ 30 % of the other side’s card value (cards only, before XP)
One side onlyXP cannot appear on both sides
ItemsMax 12 per side
CardsAt least one card somewhere in the trade — XP-for-XP is not a trade
Open offersMax 10 per operator
Expiry72 hours

A request side worth 0 (you offer, ask nothing) is a gift and is allowed.

offerValue = Σ value(offered cards) + offerXp
requestValue = Σ value(requested cards) + requestXp
ratio = offerValue / requestValue
fair = ratio ≥ 0.40 and XP caps respected

Valuation is computed at creation and re-computed at acceptance (values can change in between: a promotion completes, a GM adjusts a multiplier). If it no longer passes, acceptance fails with the reason.

Warnings are sentences: “Your side is worth 38 % of what you ask; the floor is 40 %.” / “XP sweetener 950 exceeds 30 % of the other side (max 720).”

Both users are locked, XP moves with a ledger row on each side (TRADE), and the cards swap in the same transaction. Balances never go negative: the initiator must hold the offered XP at creation, the partner must hold the requested XP at acceptance. Instances locked in a pending trade cannot be merged or offered again.

Two columns — your archive and theirs — and a centre Valuation column: each side’s value, the XP sweetener input with its live cap (“up to 720 XP”), a skewed fairness gauge from 0 to 150 % with the 40 % floor marked (green when fair), live warnings, and a disabled Submit with the reason until the trade is allowed. Item cards show their value chip and sort by value; balance the trade suggests the XP needed to reach the floor, within the cap.

The inbox shows both sides with values, the XP chips and a fairness badge — FAIR, BELOW FLOOR or GIFT — and re-shows the valuation before you confirm an acceptance.

Crates (non-transferable), XP on its own, instances that are merging, and cards of an operator whose inventory is private (they can still send trades; you cannot browse them).
