XP and shift pay
XP · 150 per Power Order · Issued by NAMS
XP is the plant’s own progression unit. In the source game the Department of Energy pays 150 XP per Power Order, 100 XP to everyone for a Code Bravo-8 start-up and 1,000 XP for a SCRAM test; a Tier 3 shift — seven or more orders, The Perfect Shift — pays 3,000. NARAMO TCG keeps XP as its only currency. It is earned, never bought, and it never converts back to anything outside the game.
Earning XP
Section titled “Earning XP”| Source | Amount |
|---|---|
| Opening a crate | Per card by rarity: C 5 · U 10 · R 25 · RH 50 · X 150 · AA 250 · Z 500 · P 100. Holo prints ×1.5. Cards you already owned before the crate ×2 (“salvage”) |
| Shift pay | 150 XP every 6 hours, plus 25 XP per streak step up to +150. The streak continues if you claim within twice the cooldown (12 h) of the previous claim, otherwise it resets |
| Daily crates | Not XP directly, but three free crates a day that pay XP when opened |
| Game Master grants | Staff may grant or remove XP with an audited reason (event prizes, corrections). Marked Issued by NAMS |
Trades never create or destroy XP; they move it between the two operators as a sweetener.

The ledger
Section titled “The ledger”Every XP change is a ledger row with a reason: PACK_OPENING, SHIFT_PAY, SHOP_PURCHASE, MERGE_RUSH, TRADE, GM_GRANT, GM_REMOVE. Your balance can never go negative, and the balance and ledger are written together, so a crate opening, a purchase or a trade either fully happens or does not happen at all.
Shift pay, explained
Section titled “Shift pay, explained”The tile on the Shop page shows a circular six-hour countdown and the streak flames. The rule:
- claim available every 6 h;
- each claim pays 150 + min(streak, 6) × 25 XP, so a maintained streak pays 300 XP per claim;
- the streak increments when you claim within 12 h of the previous claim and resets otherwise.
Four claims a day at full streak is 1,200 XP — three boosters — for showing up.
